rather
reflect upon
what ‘s been said and done
for those encountered
those held dear..

a daughter a son.
know well
the place to seek
its secret revealed
since taught awareness
of their heart’s beat

a friend…. a comrade
in arms or not
can recall
the words
the acts
the matter of facts…..

if you so choose
to remember me
please not with a tear…..

laugh;
love;
dance;
sing;
create;
seek resonance with life;
facilitate

it is now that matters
